According to the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate, if such a decision were made, it would be suicide both from a military and political point of view.

As of today, Belarus is still being prepared for full-fledged participation in the ground operation against Ukraine.

Russia uses this country as a training ground for training, training of partially mobilized, as well as a base for the supply of weapons, including heavy ones, Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, said on the air of the all-Ukrainian telethon.

"The maneuvers that we see - movement, redeployment - are focused on diverting Ukrainian forces and keeping a certain number of Ukrainian defense forces in the Belarusian direction so that they cannot be transferred to another direction," Yusov said.

He stressed that the global situation has not changed, and Belarus remains unprepared to participate in the war.

“Today, even with partially mobilized ones, Belarus is not ready for full-fledged participation in a ground operation. If such a decision were made, it would be suicide both from a military and political point of view. Considering that the most trained elite Russian units have already been destroyed on the territory of Ukraine, today, the Belarusian army, perhaps even on average, is better prepared than the Russian one. Still, their efforts, both in number and in other indicators, are not enough to form strike groups," Yusov said.

The representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate stressed that the Ukrainian defense forces are ready for different scenarios, particularly from the Belarusian direction, so "there will be no surprises."
