Russian forces have been ordered to intensify FPV drone strikes against civilian targets in Zaporizhzhia.
According to Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence, units of the 58th Army of the Russian Armed Forces have received direct orders to increase the intensity of FPV drone attacks deep within the operational rear of Ukraine’s Security and Defence Forces.
Based on information obtained by Intelligence Agency Department of Active Operations, Russian commanders have specifically ordered an escalation of terror attacks in Zaporizhzhia, instructing troops to strike any civilian targets within the regional capital.
To facilitate these plans, Russian units have reportedly been promised increased supplies of FPV kamikaze drones.
“The order to intensify terror against Ukrainians is further evidence of the growing frustration among the leaders of the Russian aggressor state over its continuously rising losses and the lack of any meaningful results on the battlefield, including on the Zaporizhzhia front,” Main Intelligence Directorate stated.
