Ukrainian defenders have halted the offensive and regained control of the situation in the Hulyaipole sector.
The Southern Defense Forces reported this on Telegram.
“Near Hulyaipole, the 33rd Separate Assault Regiment of the Ground Forces, together with adjacent assault and mechanized units, held back the offensive and regained control of the situation in the area. The front has been stabilized,” the statement reads.
As of 8 a.m. on 28 November, in the Hulyaipole sector Ukrainian soldiers repelled 20 Russian attacks near Zatyshshia, Solodke, Chervone, and in the direction of Dobropillia, Pryluky, Varvarivka, and Hulyaipole.
