The team from the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine met with government officials and businesses from Denmark.
The Danish delegation was led by Morten Bødskov, the Minister of Industry, Business, and Finance. The meeting also included Ole Egberg Mikkelsen, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark to Ukraine, representatives from Denmark's Export and Investment Fund (EIFO), the Danish Industry Confederation, as well as companies such as Mærsk, DSV, Velux Anders, and other guests.
Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction and Minister of Community and Territorial Development Oleksii Kuleba thanked Denmark for its military and humanitarian support for Ukraine.
“I am grateful to Denmark for its high-quality and substantive cooperation with Mykolaiv region. Such meaningful partnership serves as an example for other countries and our regions. Your camaraderie with the communities of Mykolaiv is already making our country more resilient and stronger,” said Oleksii Kuleba.
Morten Bødskov emphasized that the Danish delegation included representatives from companies already operating in Ukraine, with investments here, as well as those interested in potential cooperation.
Representatives of the companies shared their vision for cooperation and investment in Ukraine, including in logistics.
For his part, Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine stressed that the Ministry is committed to transparent and accountable cooperation.
Deputy Minister of Community and Territorial Development Tymur Tkachenko highlighted the importance of the Ukrainian maritime corridor for domestic exports and the plans for the concession of the Chornomorsk port.
Serhii Sukhomlyn, Head of the State Agency for Reconstruction and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine, talked about plans to ensure water supply for Mykolaiv, stating that the task for the next summer is to build a water pipeline.
The Danish side confirmed that it remains a reliable partner for Ukraine in the reconstruction of Mykolaiv. Both sides agreed to continue communication to discuss the details of cooperation.
