Ukrainian Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal discussed expanding cooperation between the two countries with the Ambassador of Japan to Ukraine, Masashi Nakagome.
Denys Shmyhal emphasized that Ukraine is open to exchanging innovations and technologies that can save lives and strengthen peace.
"I invited Japanese partners to participate in implementing projects in several important areas, including the rehabilitation of Ukrainian soldiers. I also proposed considering support for one of the centers where released servicemen of the Defense Forces are being restored," said the Minister of Defense.
Denys Shmyhal thanked the Japanese government and people for their comprehensive assistance and solidarity.
"Japan is a reliable partner whose support is extremely significant for our country," emphasized the Ukrainian Defense Minister.
