As of the morning of March 28, 2024, due to Russian aggression in Ukraine, 537 children have died, and over 1,269 have sustained injuries of varying severity, according to the Office of the Prosecutor General.

These figures are preliminary and subject to change as efforts continue to establish accurate data in areas affected by combat operations, both in occupied and liberated territories.

The regions most affected by child casualties are as follows:

• Donetsk region: 524

• Kharkiv region: 343

• Kherson region: 149

• Kyiv region: 130

• Dnipropetrovsk region: 125

• Mykolaiv region: 103

• Zaporizhzhia region: 100

During the past day:

• On March 27, as a result of an attack by Russian forces on the village of Borova in Izium district of Kharkiv region, a 12-year-old boy was killed.

• On March 27, due to the shelling in Kharkiv, four children aged from three months to thirteen years old were injured.
