During the night of April 2, Russian forces attacked certain regions of Ukraine with drones. A strike on an energy facility in the Kirovohrad region was recorded.

"During the night, Russian forces once again sent Shahed-131/136 kamikaze drones from the south. This time, Russian forces targeted the energy infrastructure of Dnipropetrovsk and Kirovohrad regions," the defenders reported.

Sergiy Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, stated that in Dnipro, the Shahed attack damaged the fire department.

"Due to the debris falling, two fires broke out in the regional center, which were promptly extinguished. A two-story building and the fire department were damaged," Lysak reported.

Lysak also mentioned that drones damaged a power transmission line in Kryvyi Rih.

"As a result of the evening attack on Kryvyi Rih, windows were shattered in three nine-story buildings. A car was damaged. A high-voltage power line was hit," Lysak wrote.

A woman was injured as a result of the attack. Medical assistance was provided to her.

"The injured woman received necessary medical assistance. She will be treated at home," Lysak reported.

Andriy Raikovych, the head of the Kirovohrad Regional State Administration, announced that Russian forces damaged an object of the energy infrastructure in the region, resulting in a fire.

"During the latest Russian forces drone attack in Kirovohrad region, an object of the energy infrastructure was damaged. The fire was promptly localized. There is no information about casualties at the moment," Raikovych reported.

The defense forces of southern Ukraine confirmed the damage to the energy infrastructure.

"In the Kirovohrad region, an object of the energy infrastructure was damaged during the attack. A fire broke out, which firefighters promptly extinguished. There were no casualties. The consequences of the damage are being clarified," the southern defense forces wrote.
