President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur.

"We are very grateful to your team, your country, and your people for the substantial support provided since the start of the full-scale war," said the President.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked Estonia for its leadership in allocating 0.25% of the country’s GDP for Ukraine’s military needs, as outlined in the bilateral security agreement. He also emphasized the need for effective cooperation to implement all the provisions of the document.

Among the main topics discussed at the meeting were Ukraine’s urgent defense needs and the necessary support to equip new brigades.

Hanno Pevkur announced a new military aid package for the Defense Forces ahead of winter, which will include uniforms for Ukrainian soldiers.

Another focus of the meeting was Estonia’s potential to fund the production of long-range drones in Ukraine, as well as the importance of Estonia’s and all Baltic countries’ support for Ukraine's accession to the EU and NATO.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Hanno Pevkur also discussed the implementation of the Victory Plan, which Estonia fully supports.
