In the Odessa region, as a result of a nighttime drone attack, four people were injured. This was reported on Telegram by the spokesperson for the Operationl Command South, and the head of the Public Council under the Odessa Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Bratchuk.
He stated that "in three waves lasting one and a half, two and a half, and again one and a half hours, the enemy attacked Odessa region with Shahed-131/136 UAVs."
The first wave targeted Odessa. All nine drones were accurately destroyed by air defense units.
However, debris from one of the downed UAVs damaged technical infrastructure near the port, and a worker at the facility was injured.
The Russian forces directed the second and third waves of attacks towards the port infrastructure of Danube river. Twelve drones were successfully destroyed there, Bratchuk noted.
The drones targeted port facilities, resulting in injuries to three workers.
The drones also struck civilian infrastructure in Izmail. Technical premises of industrial and service facilities, road surfaces, cargo, and passenger vehicles were damaged. Windows were shattered, facades and roofs were damaged in several residential buildings.
Debris from a downed drone caused a fire in a private house and garage in the Izmail district. There is no information about casualties, Bratchuk added.
