Within the framework of the European Union Military Assistance Mission in support of Ukraine (EUMAM Ukraine), France continues to provide comprehensive support to the Armed Forces of Ukraine by combining the training of military personnel with assistance to ensure the effective employment of donated military equipment.
Specialized training for Ukrainian service members is ongoing in France and Poland. At the same time, France provides operational and maintenance support for the donated equipment, including 155 mm CAESAR self-propelled howitzers and Mirage 2000-5 fighter aircraft.
This support spans the land, air, and maritime domains, contributing to the enhancement of the capabilities of Ukraine's Defence Forces, improving the effective use of modern weapon systems, and strengthening the country's overall defence posture.
Such a comprehensive approach is a key element of the European Union's long-term strategy to support Ukraine, aimed at reinforcing not only Ukraine's security but also the security of the entire European continent.
