Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis emphasized that "peace plans" that do not meet Ukraine's demands are merely calls for capitulation and will never ensure a just peace. He made this statement on Monday during a meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council in Luxembourg, according to the ministry's press service.
"Northern European and Baltic countries are the strongest supporters of Ukraine's victory. Together, we have provided 15 billion euros in aid to Ukraine since the start of the war. We understand that Ukraine's defeat poses a threat to all of us," he said.
Landsbergis added that "if we do not agree that our goal is Ukraine's complete and unconditional victory, we will push Ukraine not towards peace, but towards capitulation."
