Since the start of the day, there have been 131 combat engagements on the frontlines, with fighting ongoing in six directions. The Russian forces continue to apply the strongest pressure on the Pokrovsk axis, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Facebook.
Russian artillery again struck border settlements, including Bobylivka, Hirka, Bila Bereza, Vovkivka, Starykove, Buniakine, and Kucherivka in the Sumy region.
On the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, Russian forces used aviation once today, dropping two guided bombs, and carried out 98 shellings, including one with multiple launch rocket systems.
On the South Slobozhansky direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled three attacks by Russian forces in the areas of Izbytske, Prylipky, and Synelnykove. One engagement is ongoing.
On the Kupiansk and Kramatorsk directions, Russian forces have not conducted offensive actions today.
On the Lyman direction, Russian forces attacked seven times near Hrekivka, Drobysheve, Zarichne, and Oleksandrivka.
On the Sloviansk direction, defenders repelled seven attacks by Russian forces near Yampil, Dronivka, Serebrianka, and Siversk. Two engagements are ongoing.
On the Kostiantynivka direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 13 offensives by Russian forces in the areas of Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Oleksandro-Shultyno, Kostiantynivka, Mykolaipillia, and Torske, as well as toward Berestka and Sofiivka. Two engagements are ongoing.
On the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces made 46 attempts to push the Defense Forces from their positions in the areas of Shakhove, Nova Shakhove, Chervonyi Lyman, Myrnohrad, Vilne, Novoekonomichne, Rodynske, Novopavlivka, Pokrovsk, Svitlyi, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, and Dachne. Defenders are holding the line, having repelled 40 attacks so far.
“On this direction, search-and-strike operations by the Defense Forces continue in the Pokrovsk area. The Russian forces are taking losses,” the General Staff noted.
On the Oleksandrivka direction, Russian forces attacked 17 times in the areas of Zelenyi Hai, Yalta, Oleksandrohrad, Sosnivka, Stepove, Verbove, Pryvilne, Vyshneve, Pavlivka, Krasnohirsk, and Rybnoye. Three engagements are ongoing.
On the Huliaipole direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled five attacks by Russian forces in the areas of Zatyshshia and Huliaipole toward Pryluky. Three engagements are ongoing.
On the Orikhiv direction, one combat engagement occurred near Prymorske. Russian forces dropped guided bombs on Stepnohirsk, Hryhorivka, and Veselyanka.
On the Dnipro direction, Russian forces made one failed attempt to breach defenses toward the Antonivskyi Bridge.
On other frontlines, the situation has not significantly changed.
