In September, the Russian Federation's forces used chemical munitions against the Armed Forces of Ukraine 250 times.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It is noted that since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion and as of September 24, 2024, there have been 4,228 documented instances of the enemy using munitions loaded with hazardous chemical substances.
Specifically, this includes K-51 and RG-VO munitions, which are crowd control agents prohibited for use in warfare.
There is also a significant portion of munitions containing dangerous chemical compounds of unspecified types.
Russia continues to grossly violate the rules of warfare, disregarding the norms and obligations of the Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production, Stockpiling, and Use of Chemical Weapons and on Their Destruction.
