General Staff: The Russian forces have significantly intensified their activities in the Toretsk direction

Russian forces have significantly increased their activity in the Toretsk direction. The enemy has also concentrated in the area of Novooleksandrivka, in the Pokrovsk direction.

This was reported by the General Staff's briefing.

"In the Toretsk direction, Russian forces have significantly intensified, carrying out 32 attacks, particularly in the areas of Toretsk, Pivnichne, Pivdenne, Zalizne, and New York in the Donetsk region," the report says.

Additionally, according to the General Staff, in the Pokrovsk direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 51 attacks by Russian forces near the settlements of Novooleksandrivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Yevhenivka, Novoselivka Persha, Lozuvatske, Yasnobrodivka, Makarivka, Kalynove, Panteleymonivka, and Umanske in the Donetsk region.

"The main efforts of Russian forces were concentrated in the area of Novooleksandrivka, where they conducted more than half of their attacks," the military notes.

Situation in Other Directions

• Kharkiv Direction: Russian forces continued offensive (assault) actions supported by aviation, with eight combat clashes occurring in the areas of Vovchansk and Hlyboke.

• Kupiansk Direction: There were 13 combat clashes in a day. The defense forces repelled attacks by Russian forces in the areas of Synkivka in the Kharkiv region and Stelmakhivka in the Luhansk region. The main efforts of Russian forces were concentrated in the Synkivka area, accounting for about 80% of all confrontations in the direction.
• Lyman Direction: The Armed Forces of Ukraine thwarted 18 attacks by Russian forces in the areas of Hrekivka, Makiivka, Nevske in the Luhansk region, and Terny in the Donetsk region.
• Siversk Direction: The defense forces repelled five attacks by Russian forces in the areas of Ivano-Dariivka, Spirne, and Vyiimka in the Donetsk region.
• Kramatorsk Direction: Ukrainian defenders stopped 14 attempts by Russian forces to break through the defense in the areas of Klishchiivka, Kalynivka, Ivanivske, and Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region.
• Kurakhove Direction: The defense forces continue to restrain Russian forces in the areas of Heorhiivka, Krasnohorivka, and Paraskoviivka, where Russian forces attempted to break through the defense 10 times.
• Vremivka Direction: Russian forces carried out three assaults on positions in the areas of Vodyane and Kostyantynivka in the Donetsk region.
• Orikhiv Direction: There was one combat clash near Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region.
• Prydniprovsk Direction: Russian forces continue to try to dislodge defense units from their positions on bridgeheads. All four Russian attacks were unsuccessful.

Other Areas

• Volyn and Polissya Directions: The operational situation remains without significant changes. There are no signs of the formation of Russian offensive groups.

• Border with Chernihiv and Sumy Regions: Russian forces maintain a military presence, conduct sabotage and reconnaissance activities, and shell settlements from the territory of Russia, including Hrynivka, Riasne, Myropillia, Baranivka, and Dehtiarnia.
