General Staff: The Russians are concentrating strikes near Chasiv Yar

Since the beginning of the day, there have been 66 combat engagements on the front. The highest intensity remains in the Pokrovsk and Kharkiv directions. Additionally, Russian forces are concentrating strikes near Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region.

This information was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In the Kharkiv direction, the number of combat engagements has increased to 10, with four ongoing battles. The situation is under control, and Ukrainian units are strengthening their defensive resilience. Russian forces have already used 17 guided aerial bombs, striking Vovchansk, Lyptsi, and Staryi Saltiv with new GAB attacks.

In the Kupyansk direction, Russian forces, supported by air power, attempted to breach our defensive lines seven times, attacking near Petropavlivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Berestove, Hrekivka, Druzhliubivka, Nevske, and near Miasozharivka. They used GABs to hit Ozerne, Kupyansk, and Petropavlivka.

There were three Russian assault actions in the Lyman direction, where they attacked near the settlement of Terny. Our forces are actively resisting and responding adequately.

In the Siversk direction, our units repelled five Russian assaults. Three assaults were stopped near Vyiimka, one near Verkhniokamianske, and another near Spirne, where Russian forces attacked with air support.

In the area of Novyi, near Chasiv Yar, Russian forces have conducted five assault actions since the beginning of the day. Additionally, there were single attacks on Klishchiivka and Ivanivske. In the Kramatorsk direction, our defenders repelled seven assaults, with airstrikes hitting Tarasivka and Druzhba.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the number of Russian assault actions has increased to 16 since the beginning of the day. They are attacking near Novooleksandrivka, Kalynove, Sokol, Umanske, Novoselivka Persha, and Netailove. The situation is tense, with Russian aviation striking the settlements of Sokol and Zhelenne.

In the Kurakhiv direction, Ukrainian warriors thwarted eight Russian attacks, maintaining control of the situation.

In the Vremiivka direction, Russian forces made five offensive attempts, including near Staromaiorske and towards the village of Urozhaine. They used aviation to strike Piatykhatky.

In the Orikhiv direction, Russian forces conducted one unsuccessful attack near Robotyne.

In the Prydniprovske direction, four Russian attacks were repelled near Krynky and other left-bank strongholds.

As noted by the General Staff, Ukrainian forces are exhausting Russian forces along the entire front line. All necessary measures are being taken, and decisions are being made promptly to strengthen the defense.
