Ukrainian forces struck a strategic state fuel storage facility in Russia's Udmurt Republic, more than 1,300 kilometers from the Ukrainian border, as well as several Russian military depots in occupied Ukrainian territories, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
According to the General Staff, the strikes were carried out on July 27 and overnight into July 28 as part of efforts to reduce Russia's military and economic capabilities.
On July 27, Ukrainian forces targeted the Prioritet facility in the village of Borok in Russia's Udmurt Republic. A hit and subsequent fire were recorded at the site.
The General Staff said Prioritet is part of Russia's Federal Agency for State Reserves, or Rosrezerv, and operates as a restricted strategic facility under armed protection. It serves as a major state oil depot designed for the long-term storage of fuel, petroleum products and lubricants intended for emergencies and military needs.
Ukrainian forces also struck a logistics depot and a fuel and lubricants storage facility near Ichki in occupied Crimea.
Another strike targeted a Russian drone warehouse near Chervonopopivka in the occupied part of Luhansk region.
The General Staff did not provide details on the extent of the damage at the facilities.
