Czech citizens raised 2.8 million euros to purchase a helicopter for Ukrainian scouts.

This was announced on Sunday on social media platform X by the public initiative that launched the project, "Gift for Putin."

"We are thrilled to announce to the whole world that the citizens of the Czech Republic have come together in a public fundraiser to purchase a Black Hawk UH-60 helicopter for the Ukrainian military intelligence. A total of 2,800,000 euros have been raised!" the post states.

The fundraiser lasted for over a year, with donations coming from individuals and entrepreneurs—more than 20,000 transfers in total.

Currently, activists are raising money to buy a howitzer.

"Yesterday, you sent us over six and a half million! So... we almost have all the money to buy the second cannon... Just a little more, and the howitzer named Kubish will be home," they reported.
