The Ukrainian women's bowling team, which includes an athlete from the Odessa region, Alla Dyachenko, won a gold medal at the 24th Summer Deaflympic Bowling Games, which are now taking place in Malaysia.

The Odessa regional state administration reported that Dyachenko shared the gold with her partners: Ekaterina Kovalchuk of the Poltava region and Darina Velichko of Kyiv.

Congratulations to Alla Dyachenko for the gold medal of the XXIV sordalympic summer bowling games. We are proud that thanks to the victories of our athletes, the national flag of Ukraine is raised in the most prestigious international competitions on our planet and the national anthem of Ukraine is heard in all corners of the world.

This is the third medal won by the representatives of the Odessa region in these competitions. Previously, our bowler Vadim Danilyuk received silver and bronze medals.
