The agrochemical company Grossdorf (Cherkasy) produced 183,000 tons of fertilizers in 2024, a 21.5% increase compared to the previous year, the company’s press service reported on Facebook.
"By focusing on the needs of farmers, innovations, and caring for our clients, we not only maintained our leading position but became even stronger," emphasized the company's owner, Andriy Khaliavka.
According to the statement, the sales of UAN (urea-ammonium nitrate solution - IF-U) increased by over 25% in 2024, while NPK (complex fertilizers) grew by 1%, totaling more than 19,000 tons. At the same time, a record 51% increase was observed in the demand for ammonium sulfate, allowing the company to increase sales to 29,000 tons.
Grossdorf was established in 2016. It is involved in the production, import, and transportation of fertilizers, as well as providing anhydrous ammonia application services. The company's main specialization is supplying essential fertilizers for precision farming. The production capacity of UAN fertilizers is 480,000 tons per year, and compacted fertilizer production stands at about 60,000 tons per year. The company estimates its share of the Ukrainian UAN market at 15%.
