On Thursday, January 16, Italian Minister of Defense Guido Crosetto visited Ukraine and held talks with Minister for Strategic Industries Herman Smetanin.
This was reported by the Italian embassy in Ukraine on the social media platform X.
"The meeting between Minister Guido Crosetto and Minister for Strategic Industries Herman Smetanin. Italian aid for the legitimate defense of Ukraine and its people has been confirmed," the embassy wrote.
They also added that the parties discussed technical cooperation, including in the defense-industrial sector.
