In the United Kingdom, as part of the Interflex operation since June 2022, 33 thousand Ukrainian military personnel have undergone training.
The Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom reported this.
"33,000 Ukrainian soldiers have now been trained via the UK-led Operation Interflex. The UK and its partner nations have been delivering this basic infantry training since 2022," the statement said.
The British defense department noted that the Interflex operation will continue in 2024, "as well as the support for Ukraine by the United Kingdom.
