Several European countries have announced the strengthening of police protection for Jewish communities following the attack by the terrorist group Hamas on Israel and the subsequent escalation of the conflict.

The London police stated that the events in Israel could lead to protests in the city in the coming days. Therefore, they are implementing an "appropriate law enforcement plan" to "balance the right to protest and prevent public order disturbances."

French Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin has requested prefects throughout the country to enhance security for Jewish communities and has announced the convening of a meeting to assess the situation. He added that there are currently no threats to the security of the French Ministry of the Interior.

In Berlin, the police have announced that they have increased security measures at Jewish and Israeli institutions following the Hamas attack on Israel. The Central Council of Jews in Germany stated that they are in "intensive contact" with the authorities.

Similar security measures for Jewish communities have also been adopted in Spain and Italy.
