President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Prime Minister of Denmark Mette Frederiksen visited Mykolaiv as part of Denmark’s patronage over the city's recovery.

The Head of State and the Danish Prime Minister inspected the building of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, which was partially destroyed by a Russian missile attack on March 29, 2022. The Russian attack killed 37 people.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy told Mette Frederiksen about the destruction the city had suffered due to enemy shelling. He informed the Prime Minister of Denmark about Mykolaiv's infrastructure recovery needs.

The President of Ukraine and the Prime Minister of Denmark visited the Mykolaiv Commercial Sea Port and inspected the oil storage tanks that were destroyed by enemy missile and drone attacks.

In addition, Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Mette Frederiksen visited an individual heating point equipped with a water purification and distribution unit. This project was implemented with the assistance of Denmark, which was one of the first to help the city provide residents with drinking water after the Russian aggressor destroyed the traditional water supply system from the Dnieper River.

The President of Ukraine and the Prime Minister of Denmark also visited one of the hospitals in Mykolaiv where wounded Ukrainian defenders undergo rehabilitation.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Mette Frederiksen were briefed on the hospital's work under the full-scale Russian invasion.

"It is important for us to help our warriors undergo not only physical, but also psychological rehabilitation," the Head of State emphasized.

The President presented valuable gifts to the military and medical workers.
