In the Chasiv Yar area and on the Siversk direction, Russia is gathering forces and accumulating reserves. This was reported by the spokesperson for the Joint Forces Task Force (JFTF) Luhansk, Anastasia Bobovnikova, during a TV broadcast.
"On the Toretsk direction, the number of assaults has increased. Meanwhile, in the Chasiv Yar area and on the Siversk direction, there is still a tendency for the number of assaults to decrease. For example, on the Siversk direction, there was only one assault in the past 24 hours," the spokesperson said, answering a question about the dynamics in their area of responsibility after the past week.
She also added that Russian forces are advancing on the Toretsk direction.
"We see that on the Toretsk direction, the dynamic situation has resumed. The enemy is now attempting to advance with small infantry groups, as before. In the past 24 hours, there were 16 assaults. Nearly 90 individuals were either killed or wounded in Toretsk itself during the same period," Bobovnikova informed.
According to her, in the Chasiv Yar area and on the Siversk direction, Russia is gathering forces and accumulating reserves. It is expected that in some time, the number of active hostilities and assaults will increase again.
The spokesperson stated that Russia is currently using aviation across all three directions in their zone of responsibility.
"Just today, they struck Chasiv Yar and Kramatorsk, and on the Toretsk direction, 13 GABs were launched, including at Toretsk, Kostiantynivka, and 9 strikes with unguided air-to-ground rockets on the settlement of Druzhba," she noted.
