As of now, more than 1,300 bodies of civilians have already been exhumed.
Investigators have not yet been able to identify more than 200 civilians killed by Russian invaders in the Kyiv region. This was reported to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“Ukrainians shot and tortured by Russians are still found in the Kyiv region. As of now, more than 1,300 bodies of civilians have already been exhumed. After conducting investigative actions at the burial site, they were sent to morgues to conduct forensic medical examinations. The dead have not been identified," the ministry said.
As Andriy Nebytov, head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kyiv region noted, the exhumation is carried out daily, and war crimes of the Russian occupiers are recorded.
Recall that the bodies of Ukrainian civilians tortured by Russians were found in all temporarily occupied settlements of the Kyiv region. As of June 3, the bodies of 1314 residents killed by Russian invaders were found in the region.
