The Russian army is concentrating assault groups near the settlements of Robotyne and Pryiutne in the Zaporizhzhia region, although currently, the creation of offensive formations has not been detected by our intelligence.
This was stated by Vladislav Voloshin, spokesman for the Southern Defense Forces, during a TV marathon.
"Regarding whether the Russian troops have already begun their more active assault actions in the Zaporizhzhia direction — near Robotyne and Pryiutne — they have not yet launched these assaults. However, I want to say that the enemy is already concentrating personnel from these assault groups at the front positions," he said.
According to him, the Russiaon troops are conducting reconnaissance and search operations to identify fire assets. Additionally, Russian forces assault actions with small infantry groups may begin in approximately three to five days or a week.
"Currently, our intelligence has not detected the creation of offensive formations. These assault groups are being formed from Russian units operating in this direction. Specifically, these are motorized infantry units and their airborne assault troops. Furthermore, additional units are being created to conduct consolidation. This means that the assault group will consist of small infantry groups of five to ten people. They will carry out assaults, followed by consolidation groups that will hold the captured positions," the spokesman added.
He noted that the situation in the south is generally complicated due to daily shelling. The occupiers are carrying out at least 200-250 artillery strikes daily, using missiles, aviation, drones, and conducting assault actions.
