Due to the full-scale war waged by Russia against Ukraine, more than 2,447 children have been affected, with 606 confirmed dead.
This was reported by the press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General on Facebook.
"More than 2,447 children have been affected in Ukraine as a result of Russia's full-scale military aggression. As of the morning of March 28, 2025, according to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 606 children have been killed, and more than 1,841 have been injured to varying degrees of severity," the OGP stated.
According to the prosecutor's office, the most affected areas include Donetsk (636 children), Kharkiv (471), Kherson (202), Dnipropetrovsk (203), Kyiv (136), Zaporizhzhia (170), Mykolaiv (118), and Sumy (115).
"Over the past days: On March 25, as a result of shelling in the village of Kurtyvka, Kramatorsk district, Donetsk region, a three-year-old girl was killed, and a 15-year-old girl was injured. On March 26, as a result of shelling in Kharkiv, a 14-year-old girl was injured," the statement said.
As of March 25, 2025, since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russian forces have killed 605 children in Ukraine.
