This year's Web Summit brought together over 70,000 visitors from around the world, with more than 3,000 companies and 1,000 investors in attendance. Ukraine was represented by 24 startups, showcasing promising products across various sectors, from AI and healthcare to edtech and insurance tech.

The main goal for any startup at Web Summit is to seek investments, form new partnerships and attract clients, while exploring opportunities for market expansion. As a result, Ukrainian startups secured partnerships with over 80 companies and pre-registered more than 2,000 new clients. Potential new markets include the US, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, Brazil, as well as European countries. Additionally, several startups received soft commitments for angel investments, ranging from $100,000 to $500,000.

AI remained the top theme at Web Summit, focusing on its role in business transformation, ethical concerns, and future prospects. Ukrainian AI startup Bliss Brain made it to the top 10 finalists of the startup competition and pitched its product on the main stage of Web Summit. The app, which creates personalized meditations using AI, was selected from over 2,000 participants. This resulted in a 65% increase in downloads during the conference period.

The global message of the Ukrainian delegation remains unchanged: despite everything, Ukraine is a reliable partner and a promising technology market worth investing in. Within the framework of Web Summit, the Ministry of Digital Transformation launched an ambitious international project — the marketplace for Ukrainian tech companies, CodeUA.

"This project not only highlights the strength and adaptability of Ukrainian IT companies but also demonstrates our commitment to scaling Ukraine's technological potential through partnerships with companies worldwide. CodeUA will help businesses around the world find reliable partners in Ukraine to implement technological projects," said Oleksandr Borniakov, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.

The participation of the Ukrainian delegation was made possible through the joint efforts of co-organizers — the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Startup Fund, and the Ukraine-Moldova American Enterprise Fund, along with the main partner, the Epicenter Group of Companies, and partners such as Nova Digital, Nova Poshta, the European consortium Seeds of Bravery, StrategEast, the Digital Ukraine Association, and the Embassy of Ukraine in Portugal.
