Petro Chernyk: Iran will supply ballistic missiles to Russia: will Israel help Ukraine?

Petro Chernyk noted that Iran is ready to supply the Russian army with ballistic missiles, but there will be not several hundred, but several dozen. But it is also a dangerous weapon.

Iran chose the side of Russia. And it's time for our diplomats to seriously begin diplomatic work, first of all with the ambassador, to clarify Iran's position.

Military expert Petro Chernyk talked about this in an exclusive interview for TSN.

"By such a step to render these rather harmful "Shaheds" to the enemy, he (Iran - ed.) chose a side. The line of evil on planet Earth has crystallized. Russia, Iran, Syria, and the question for me is whether China will join this axis of evil, or not will join. And North Korea is in this camp," the expert said.

Speaking about the supply of kamikaze drones by Iran to the Russian Federation, Petr Chernik stressed that the Shahedas are quite sensitive for the Ukrainians, but we have learned to shoot down 90% of them. In addition, Russia will receive up to 700 of these machines, no more.

"Now let's figure out what's going on with Iran's export potential? Iran itself is under heavy sanctions. And let me remind you that almost all of their weapons, all the same Shahedas, are either clones or a continuation of the line, primarily of Chinese developments. Maybe "I don't think Iran should put such weapons on a large conveyor. Yes, the Shahedas are sensitive enough for us, but we have learned to shoot down 90% of them. And I think it's a few hundred, maybe 500-600, well up to 700 cars, no more," he said.

The expert noted that Iran is ready to supply the Russian army with ballistic missiles. But there will be not a few hundred, but several dozen.

"As for the Fateh-110 ballistic missiles, which are being discussed that can be provided, and the continuation of this Zolfaghar missile, yes, indeed, this is a pretty good operational-tactical complex, with a firing range of up to 300 km, with a rather heavy part somewhere - then within the range of up to 600 kilograms. This is, you know, an approximate analogue of the Iskander. But, again, I don’t think that we can talk about a huge amount of several hundred. Rather, several dozen. But this is a dangerous weapon anyway," Chernyk explained.

And given that Iran has crystallized, according to a military expert, Israel must respond.

“Israel, in fact, has a huge line of technological weapons, primarily to combat precisely such drones. We hope that the Israelis will rethink their position, and we will have strengthening on their part, first of all, with technological means to combat precisely these drones," Petro Chernyk summed up.
