Israel is increasingly contacting and establishing connections with Ukrainian drone manufacturers for cooperation and knowledge exchange, according to the Israeli publication N12.
It is noted that Ukraine, which has already become a technological power in the field of various interceptors and missiles, has created a unique industry in UAVs, and today more than 200 Ukrainian companies operate in this sector.
Some of them are building relationships with Israeli private contractors. It is reported that:
"Israeli defense companies are currently in quite active contact with their Ukrainian counterparts."
Contacts are also occurring at higher levels. Ukraine's Ambassador to Israel, Yevhen Korniychuk, reports that he helped establish direct communication between the Israeli defense company Elbit and Ukraine's Ministry of Defense.
Other Israeli arms companies, such as R2, are in contact with the Ukrainian state initiative Brave1. New connections are also being established between Ukrainian FPV manufacturers and their Israeli colleagues.
Due to the sensitive nature of the matter, Yevhen Korniychuk refrains from providing exact details but generally notes the active cooperation between Ukrainian and Israeli defense manufacturers.
The Ukrainian ambassador laments that this step (cooperation) should have started long ago and that the synergy between Ukrainian and Israeli defense companies is a real force multiplier.
