The Russians in the temporarily occupied Tokmak are preparing for a difficult autumn – they are already evacuating their families and removing educational institutions. In particular, on Wednesday, October 4th, all stores, markets, and "government offices" were closed in the city. This was reported by the Mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov.
"There is no panic, but there is panic. Occupiers on the Melitopol direction are preparing for a hot autumn. It's already smoldering in Tokmak," he wrote on Telegram.
According to him, several weeks ago, the occupiers began removing "authorities," and a few days ago, Russian officers began evacuating their families intensively.
In addition, the Russian occupiers have moved into educational institutions, evacuating schools, vocational schools, and technical schools.
Furthermore, on the evening of October 3rd, Tokmak announced the closure of the so-called "government offices," shops, and markets.
"Whatever they are preparing for, the enemy is definitely not feeling good," concluded the Mayor of Melitopol.
Also there are:
- On the front line near Novoprokofivka, a complex system of trenches, tunnels, and two-story underground bunkers has been constructed.
- Around Tokmak, trenches are being filled with concrete, and new defensive lines are being built.
- New transportation routes are being established to simplify the delivery of military supplies. They have announced plans to build a railway from Melitopol to Rostov and construct a road from Mariupol to Novoazovsk.
