Yaroslav Filimonov, CEO of the Ukrainian company Kvertus, which produces electronic warfare (EW) systems, announced the launch of serial production of the ground robotic complex AD BERSERK.
According to Filimonov, AD BERSERK is the result of “hundreds of hours of development, testing, and improvements.”
The robot has a range of up to 20 km and autonomy of up to 12 hours. The Kvertus CEO says the EW system of this robotic complex creates interference across all frequency bands used by kamikaze drones, bombers, and multirotor drones.
The main tasks AD BERSERK is designed to perform include:
- Evacuating wounded personnel from “zero line” (frontline);
- Providing cover during demining operations;
- Supporting assault operations;
- Protecting logistics routes.
“This drone symbolizes that work on technological development at Kvertus never stops for a moment. We are already working on dozens of orders for these systems — a clear testament to their effectiveness,” said Yaroslav Filimonov.
Kvertus first presented AD BERSERK last fall. At that time, it was reported to have a speed of up to 25 km/h and an option for fiber-optic control.
