Latvia supports all initiatives aimed at increasing military assistance to Ukraine and currently allocates over 1% of its GDP to aid our country.

The head of the Latvian defense agency, Inara Murniece, reported this information.

"Our military assistance to Ukraine exceeds one percent of our GDP. Today, we are focusing our efforts on training Ukrainian servicemen and have committed to train an additional 3,000. This is a significant number considering the size of my country and our Armed Forces. We would be happy if other EU countries joined us in such work," noted Inara Murniece.
