This was stated by Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkēvičs on Latvian television, writes Delfi.

According to the Foreign Minister, it is important to provide Ukraine with both military and financial assistance so that the country can restore the civilian infrastructure destroyed by Russia and survive the winter.

Russia hopes for the West's fatigue, including by trying to influence public opinion negatively.

Rinkevics stressed that the unity of the West in helping Ukraine is "quite strong", but there are problems with the speed of implementation of the decisions made.
