Law enforcement has identified the Ukrainian defender who was brutally killed on the front line. They have also identified Russians responsible for decapitating a Ukrainian soldier.
Ukrainian Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin reported this on Twitter:
"Regarding the investigation into the brutal murder of a Ukrainian defender in Donetsk region, which became known yesterday. The identity of the deceased has been established. At this time, we cannot disclose his name pending final confirmation of his details."
He also informed that Ukrainian law enforcement has identified Russian commanders potentially responsible for the decapitation of the Ukrainian defender. This information is still under verification.
The Prosecutor General emphasized that the brutal killing of the warrior is yet another confirmation that Russia's state policy shows complete disregard for international law and common human morality.
"Every world leader who shakes hands with Putin must realize that they are shaking hands with someone who tolerates barbaric killings," Kostin added.
On June 18, it was reported about another instance of executions by Russian forces of Ukrainian defenders. According to law enforcement, Russian commanders ordered not to take Ukrainian soldiers captive but to kill them instead.
