As part of Lithuania's budget for 2024, they plan to allocate support for Ukraine in the amount of 340 million euros.

According to an interview with BNS, Prime Minister Ingrida ŠimonytÄ— stated, as reported by LRT, that in the coming years, Vilnius will need funds not only for supporting war refugees but also for continuing support to Kyiv if EU countries do not agree on a 50 billion euro aid package for Ukraine.

ŠimonytÄ— specified,

"We will provide Ukraine with a total of about 0.4% of GDP, which is approximately 340 million euros."

The Lithuanian government will consider the budget project for the year 2024 on Thursday, October 5th
