A new industrial park "Burshtyn" will be created in the city of Burshtyn, Ivano-Frankivsk district, Ivano-Frankivsk region. The decision to include this park in the Register of Industrial (Manufacturing) Parks was approved by the government at a meeting on February 28.
"The 'Burshtyn' industrial park will attract investments, develop the processing industry, and contribute to the region's economic growth. Its creation opens new opportunities for business and international cooperation," said Vitaliy Kindratyv, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine.
In 2025, it will be the third park to be included in the Register of Industrial (Manufacturing) Parks.
The Burshtyn City Council initiated the creation of the "Burshtyn" industrial park. The total area of the park is 20.4535 hectares, and its activities will focus on the development of the processing industry and related sectors. It is expected to create up to 1,000 jobs in the following industries:
- Textile production
- Food production
- Clothing production
- Wood processing and manufacturing of wood and cork products, excluding furniture
- Manufacturing of products from straw and plant materials for weaving
- Manufacturing of machinery and equipment
- Production of other non-metallic mineral products
- Scientific and technical activities
- Activities in the field of information and electronic communications
