Romania intends to play a key role in Ukraine's recovery after the war with Russia. This statement was made by Romanian Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu during a meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

Ciolacu noted that Romania's strengths, including security, geographic proximity, and various transportation connections, could interest American companies willing to participate in Ukraine's reconstruction. The Romanian Prime Minister emphasized ongoing support for Ukraine as long as necessary, considering the recovery process.

In response, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken expressed gratitude to the Romanian Prime Minister for assistance to Ukraine and cooperation in the Black Sea region. He anticipated visible progress in their future joint efforts.
