The film "Mariupolis 2" by the Lithuanian documentarian Mantas KvedaraviÄius won an award of the European Film Academy as the best documentary film of the year.

"Mariupolis 2" is the sequel to "Mariupolis" (2015), which KvedaraviÄius started making after the start of the full-scale invasion. During filming, the director was shot by the Russian military. Relatives and colleagues of KvedaraviÄius completed the work on the film.
