Ukrainian tennis player Marta Kostyuk reached the semifinals of the WTA 500 tournament in Stuttgart, Germany, after defeating the third-ranked player in the world, Coco Gauff, from the USA, and the reigning champion of the US Open.
As reported by the Ukrainian Tennis Federation on their Facebook page, Marta Kostyuk secured her spot in the semifinals of the WTA 500 tournament in Stuttgart by defeating the third-ranked player in the world, Coco Gauff, with a score of 3-6; 6-4; 7-6 (8:6).
The Federation noted that this was Kostyuk's second consecutive victory over a top-10 player in the tennis world.
