The Ukrainian parliament supported the extension of martial law and general mobilization in Ukraine. According to the decrees of President Volodymyr Zelensky, the special regime will operate for the next 90 days - until February 19, 2023.

According to People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak, 294 deputies supported the martial law bill and 297 on mobilization.

"The Verkhovna Rada has extended martial law and general mobilization for 90 days until February 19, 2023," the people's deputy wrote on Telegram.

It is worth noting that martial law and general mobilization were introduced from 5:30 on February 24, when the Russian Federation launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine for 30 days.

Later it was extended several times:

  • for 30 days until March 26;
  • for 30 days until April 25;
  • for 30 days until May 30;
  • for 90 days until August 23;
  • for 90 days until November 21st.
