McDonald’s Ukraine, which operates the McDonald’s fast-food chain in the country, opened a new restaurant on Friday at the Victoria Gardens shopping center in Lviv (226-A Kulparkivska Street), the company’s press service reported.
The restaurant became the ninth McDonald’s location to open in 2025 and the 118th operating McDonald’s in Ukraine. The opening created 85 new jobs.
The new McDonald’s is located in the food court of Victoria Gardens and will operate daily from 10:00 to 22:00. Visitors can place orders via self-service kiosks or use the McDelivery service. As with most other food court locations, due to operating hours, the new restaurant will offer only main menu items and will not serve breakfast.
The restaurant operates according to enhanced safety standards followed by all McDonald’s locations in Ukraine. During air raid alerts, staff and customers move to the nearest shelter, and operations resume within an hour after the all-clear.
The first McDonald’s in Ukraine opened on 24 May 1997 in Kyiv. Currently, 118 restaurants operate in Ukraine, while 15 remain closed due to safety requirements.
According to the YouControl analytical system, McDonald’s Ukraine generated UAH 9.9 billion in revenue in the first half of 2025, a 26.9% increase compared to the same period last year. Net profit fell to UAH 845.3 million, down from UAH 874.7 million in the first half of 2024.
