The Metinvest Group and the Kamianske City Council have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on socio-economic development. This year, the company will invest 70 million UAH in implementing important projects for the community.

According to the press release, the funds will be used to renovate hospitals No. 9 and No. 7, the emergency hospital, and Primary Health Care Center No. 3. Additionally, the community will receive five new trams, which will help modernize the tram fleet and make city transportation more comfortable.

“Within the framework of Rinat Akhmetov’s Steel Front, Metinvest is focused on supporting our resilient military. At the same time, the group continues to care for the peaceful residents of the cities where its enterprises operate. Constant cooperation with the mayor of Kamianske has become a good tradition, as evidenced by numerous successfully implemented initiatives. This year, we are expanding the scope of our interaction, initiating even more joint projects aimed at developing urban infrastructure, supporting social programs, and improving the quality of life for the community,” said Olexander Mironenko, Metinvest’s Chief Operating Officer.

Kamianske Mayor Andriy Bilousov emphasized the importance of such cooperation between business and local authorities during wartime.

Last year, Metinvest invested 50 million UAH in modernizing Kamianske’s medical infrastructure.
