The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, with the support of the Kyiv School of Economics (KSE), is conducting a collection of investment projects in the energy sector. Selected projects will be used to better understand the sector’s needs and to create a project pipeline for funding programs from international financial institutions (IFIs) and development finance institutions (DFIs).

The projects proposed may cover all subsectors of energy, including those aimed at enhancing business resilience and energy independence, as well as projects related to maneuverable and distributed generation. The primary goal is to build a database of private sector projects, which will depend on active business involvement in submitting proposals. These projects will be featured on a specialized investment portal currently under development and included in a sectoral investment guide.

“We are in constant dialogue with businesses and international partners to improve and streamline the process of securing financing for projects in Ukraine. Businesses currently have access to credit and grant financing opportunities, and we are also working on expanding existing war risk insurance tools and developing the next phase of financing under the Ukraine Investment Framework. A key part of this work is to present projects to potential investors and help define funding priorities. To achieve this, we need a clear understanding of current projects in the private sector, which will be used in our collaboration with international partners,” stated Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Volodymyr Kuzio.

To propose a project, please fill out the form at the following link. The submission deadline is August 31: https://t.ly/BNyqM.
