Danish-Ukrainian defence company MITS Industries has announced the launch of a new R&D office in Denmark. The project was initiated and is being led by Ukrainian company INFOZAHYST, one of the co-founders of MITS Industries.
Ukraine has entered a new phase of technological warfare. To remain two steps ahead of rapidly changing battlefield challenges, it is necessary to draw on all available sources of expertise, the company said. This principle formed the basis for the creation of MITS Industries.
“It is important for Ukraine not only to leverage its own capabilities but also to integrate into the international research and development ecosystem. This enables faster access to the expertise, equipment, and experience required to create new solutions,” says Iaroslav Kalinin, CEO of INFOZAHYST.
For more than 20 years, INFOZAHYST has been developing advanced engineering and research capabilities in Ukraine, including modern laboratories and a highly qualified team of engineers. The opening of the office in Denmark will extend this work internationally.
The main objectives of the new MITS Industries R&D office include:
- Scaling up research by combining Ukrainian defence technologies with international engineering talent, research infrastructure and technological expertise.
- Accelerating innovation through faster access to advanced equipment and expertise needed to develop critical defence solutions.
- Maintaining the company’s base in Ukraine. The INFOZAHYST team will lead the launch and development of the R&D office in Denmark, while the company’s main research and production base will remain in Ukraine.
