The annual Munich Security Conference (MSC) begins today, February 14, and will run until February 16. The schedule for key speeches at MSC 2025 has been announced.
The conference will be opened by Christoph Heusgen, who will preside over MSC. Following him, German Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier will deliver the opening speech.
As in previous years, the Munich Conference programme will consist of three parts: the main programme curated by MSC, about 200 side events, and dozens of public discussions.
On Friday, February 14, the main programme of the conference will begin, focusing on global security challenges, including global governance, democracy resilience, climate security, and other topics.
On Saturday, February 15, debates will take place on the state of the international order, as well as regional conflicts and crises. The future of the transatlantic partnership will also be a key topic on the second day of the conference.
On Sunday, February 16, the conference will conclude with discussions on Europe's role in the world.
