The war in Ukraine will end "quickly and in one moment." Moreover, it's unlikely that Ukraine will have to reclaim territories with bloodshed, as under certain conditions, "events will take a different turn."
Such an opinion was expressed by the advisor to the head of the President's Office, Mykhailo Podolyak, in his Twitter.
"It won't be easy, but it's overly naive to think that Ukraine will have to regain territories, fighting for every kilometer with bloodshed. As Ukrainian forces advance to the southern regions and approach the administrative border with Crimea, events will take a different turn. Ultimately, it will all end quickly and in one moment - just as it began," he assured.
According to Podoliak, Putin's entire internal legitimacy is currently built on the conviction of the Russian elites that he "hasn't lost the war yet."
"In the Kremlin, they understand the inevitable: the more Russia loses its occupied territories, the faster the regime's support will crumble," he said.
In Podoliak's view, the assassination of Wagner PMC leader Yevgeny Prigozhin and the preparation for a new mobilization in Russia to reinforce the front line are merely "buying time."
