The Office of the President is convinced that the "diplomatic settlement" of the war provides for the loss of Ukraine, so the Ukrainians themselves will never agree to this.
Mikhail Podolyak, the adviser to the head of the President's Office, called for an end to offering Ukraine surrender disguised as diplomacy.
Podolyak wrote about this on his Twitter.
When someone talks about "diplomatic settlement", they are actually proposing Ukraine to fulfill Russia’s ultimatum: "give away territories, admit defeat". Ukrainian people will never agree to this. Therefore, a request: stop offering Ukraine capitulation disguised as "diplomacy"
