Ukrainian troops continue to hold the foothold on the left bank of the Kherson region. The Russian forces are exploring options for rotations, as the Russians do not wish to launch another attack.
This was reported by the head of the united press center of the Operational Command South Natalia Humenyuk during a telethon.
As Humenyuk explained, the work on strengthening and fortifying the foothold continues, despite the Russia's ongoing assaults. Just in the past day, April 15, the Russians launched 5 attacks, which is a more or less stable number.
She added that the Russian forces no longer uses armored vehicles during assaults and relies solely on infantry.
"They continue to explore options for rotations to bring new units to this direction, which are not familiar with the situation. Because they cannot use those who miraculously returned from there in assaults again. Their morale and psychological state are very low, for the contingent that has already encountered ours and understood whose land it is on the left bank," Humenyuk added.
