In the south, there is quite a high level of Russian aerial reconnaissance activity. The Russian forces are accumulating units to seize the island sections of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region.
This was stated by Ruslan Muzichuk, spokesperson for the National Guard of Ukraine, during a television broadcast.
"The activity of reconnaissance drones such as 'Orlan' and 'Zala' is traditionally quite high in the southern directions. In response, Ukrainian UAV units are destroying drones, preventing the enemy from fully understanding the status of our forces and resources," the spokesperson said.
He noted that the Russian forces are accumulating units in certain areas and is primarily trying to use them for attempts to storm and capture specific island sections of the Dnipro River in Kherson region.
